CareRite National Nursing Home Week

VALHALLA, N.Y.--()--Skilled nursing centers across the country are filled with staff and volunteers who embody endless kindness, giving and sacrifice. In the spirit of supporting fellow colleagues, volunteers, residents and their families, The Grove at Valhalla Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Westchester, NY recognized National Nursing Home Week by producing a music video promoting its “#IMatter” campaign. The fun-loving music video is a parody of Madcon’s popular hit song, “Don’t Worry,” inspiring staff to work together and show their love and support for one another, their residents and families.

Staff from The Grove at Valhalla Rehabilitation and Nursing Center took turns lip syncing and dancing to the contagious, inspirational words of “Don’t Worry” in various backdrops throughout their facility. Staff members' spirits awaken and energetic feelings of fulfillment and compassion transcend within each individual. This was an opportunity for staff and volunteers to build camaraderie and unite for a common cause. It underscores the American Health Care Association's “The Spirit of America” theme in support of National Nursing Home Week (May 14-20, 2017).

“We want to acknowledge all the special healthcare professionals across the globe who have elevated rehabilitation, healing and individualized care within skilled nursing centers,” said Aaron Levy, LNHA Administrator, The Grove at Valhalla Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. “Together, we can make a difference serving the needs of patients and their families. We wish all nursing home staff a happy and celebratory National Nursing Home Week.”

CareRite Centers recognizes all staff alongside world-renowned partners celebrating National Nursing Home Week, including Dr. Mehmet Oz, Donna Karan and Rodney and Colleen Yee and wishes a happy #NationalNursingHomeWeek from its entire community. This week CareRite Centers takes pride in showcasing why we all matter. #IMatter #TheCareRiteDifference
