LOUISVILLE, Ky.--()--If swinging by the store to buy more dryer sheets puts a wrinkle in your day, GE Appliances has you covered. Keeping owners’ busy lives in mind, GE Appliances has added another innovation to simplify routine tasks, and further evolve its connected appliance offerings. By integrating with Amazon Dash Replenishment, GE Appliances makes reordering dryer sheets easier than ever by ensuring owners never have to worry about running out.

“We’re delighted to offer Wi-Fi®-connected dryers with Dash Replenishment reordering capability,” said Julie Muennich, director of marketing for laundry products at GE Appliances. “We know that more families are increasingly using Dash Replenishment to make their lives easier, and this new capability with our dryers will take the hassle out of keeping track of the household stock of dryer sheets.”

How It Works

To get started, owners simply set up Dash Replenishment through the GE Laundry app using their Amazon account and select the laundry dryer sheets they want automatically reordered. The connected dryer will measure how many dryer sheets are used by counting drying cycles. When supplies are low, the dryer will use Dash Replenishment to reorder the product selected, ensuring that the “ran out of it” moment never happens.

Last year, GE Appliances launched Dash Replenishment with washer products and connected dishwashers, making it easy for consumers to reorder liquid detergent, fabric softener and dishwasher pods. This addition makes GE Appliances the first appliance manufacturer to have three product lines integrated with Dash Replenishment.
