MISSISSAUGA, Ontario & TOKYO--()--Mississauga, Ontario-based SOTI Inc. joined The Honourable Kathleen Wynne, Premier of Ontario; and The Honourable Brad Duguid, Minister of Economic Development and Growth, on the Premier’s first business mission to Japan. The delegates met with Japanese government and business leaders to foster new relationships and seek new opportunities with Japan in the communications technologies (ICT) sector. The Canadian leaders also encouraged Japanese investment in Ontario based on the province’s competitive business environment, talented workforce and leadership in developing innovative technologies. The visit to Japan is the first leg of Premier Wynne’s mission to Japan and South Korea.

According to Premier Wynne “I am pleased to lead my mission to Japan with 45 delegates from Ontario, including SOTI. This mission and participation from leaders like SOTI will help build on our strong trade relationships and foster new ones. This will help Ontario attract new investments and lay the groundwork for future partnerships to foster our continued economic growth.”

Premier Wynne, Minister Duguid and SOTI CEO Carl Rodrigues will attend several events to demonstrate Canada’s growing presence and interest in Japan’s strong technology market.
