NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Odeon Capital Group LLC (“Odeon”), a New York-based independent Broker-Dealer with trading, investment banking and research services, today announced its expansion of its Equity platform with the hiring of industry veteran, Jesse Cole.
Jesse joined ISI Group following graduate school at Columbia University where he worked under renowned economist Ed Hyman. He then moved to Pali Capital before starting his own financial services company, Schonfeld IBS which he grew into a multimillion-dollar company. This success followed him to Merlin Institutional, whose equity trading department he created and managed. Merlin Institutional was sold to Wells Fargo in 2012 after much success. Most recently Jesse served as CEO of Haute Hippie, a luxuriously chic bohemian fashion brand. Additionally, as chairman of the board of associates for Ronald McDonald House of New York City, he continues and shares Odeon’s commitment to philanthropy.
Jesse’s background will lead directly to Odeon offering an impactful value-add proposition to clients including the need for alpha driven ideas combined with capital introduction services. “The service platform over the past fifteen years has changed dramatically and continues to evolve. The need for service providers to offer fund managers a partner in both analytical research and capital sourcing is greater than ever.
