Former and Current RSA, U.S. Department of Homeland Security and U.S. National Security Agency Experts Join Cybric’s Advisory Board

Top security experts advise next-generation leader of cybersecurity automation and vulnerability remediation

BOSTON--()--Cybric, provider of the only Continuous Security-as-a-Service platform, today announced three new advisors with deep experience in the cybersecurity industry. They will help Cybric advance its unique offering that enables enterprises to protect their critical applications and data without impacting the production environment. These advisors include:

  • Jim Bandanza, former SVP at RSA, the Security Division of EMC;
  • Rear Admiral Michael Brown, United States Navy, (RET), VP & GM of Global Public Sector at RSA, and former Director of Cybersecurity Coordination at United States Department of Homeland Security;
  • John DeLong, former Director of Compliance at the National Security Agency (NSA).

Bandanza, DeLong and Brown join an advisory board of influential leaders from the security, artificial intelligence, academic and public sectors that includes current and former leaders from the Boston Police Department, Uber, Fidelity Investments, Northeastern University, Dell and Actifio. The advisory board provides strategic guidance to Cybric’s executive and technical teams to further strengthen its position as a pioneer of the next-generation of cybersecurity automation and vulnerability remediation.

With over twenty years of cybersecurity and software experience, Jim Bandanza joins Cybric’s advisory board to propel the company forward as it prepares to launch its patent-pending technology that will change the way companies approach cybersecurity. Prior to independently advising top security companies and CISOs around the world, Bandanza served as senior vice president of global field operations at RSA, The Security Division of EMC, where he led all field based functions when EMC acquired the company for $2.1 billion in 2005.

Michael Brown, Rear Admiral, United States Navy (Retired) joins Cybric’s advisory board while serving as Vice President and General Manager of RSA Global Public Sector. In this role, he is spearheading strategy and engagement with the United States Federal Government, state and local governments, critical infrastructure organizations and international public sector organizations. Previously, Brown served in high-ranking positions for the United States Department of Homeland Security, Office of the Director of National Intelligence and United States Navy. As a member of Cybric’s advisory board, Brown will help define and execute the company’s mission of providing true real-time vulnerability identification and proactive remediation.

Prior to joining Cybric’s advisory board, John DeLong served as the NSA’s Director of Compliance and Director of the Commercial Solutions Center. In addition to his time at the NSA, DeLong previously served in a joint duty position as the Deputy Director of the National Cyber Security Division at the Department of Homeland Security. DeLong’s technical, operational and policy expertise will help to further establish Cybric as a key provider of cybersecurity solutions that combine both proactive and detective safeguards into one integrated platform.
