RAMSEY, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ramsey Subaru hosted a Grand Opening Celebration on Monday evening September 12, 2016 to commemorate the company’s newly renovated sales facility and present Subaru’s Share The Love Donation.
“We’re excited to officially welcome our community and Subaru management to our updated showroom”, says Arthur Picciano, General Manager of Ramsey Subaru. “We are grateful to Subaru of America for its charitable program, which allowed us to earn $250 per car sold and donate to a charity of our choice. This year, we were pleased to donate from Subaru of America’s Share the Love Program to REED Academy.”

A highlight of the Grand Opening Celebration was the $100,000 check presentation from Ramsey Subaru to officials of the REED Academy including Scott Marshall, Rick Klinenberg, Ken Nicholas, Jill Nadison, and Lisa Goldstein.
The REED Academy, located in Oakland NJ, was chosen for the donation because of their work helping children and young adults who are affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders. The money will be used for the new young adult program.
Corporate executives were also in attendance. Among the officials who came were Subaru of America’s Jeff Walters and Subaru Distributors Corp’s David Sammons and Baron Butler.
Ramsey Subaru completed their renovation, which gave the dealership more parking, a larger showroom, and an indoor delivery area, in June.
“Because we wanted to improve the customer experience, we chose to invest in a major renovation to our sales facility”, says Arthur Picciano. “This follows the construction of a 36,000 sq. ft. service facility that includes an indoor service drive, and Express Service. Both were done to handle our extraordinary growth in sales volume over the last several years.”
