NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kargo, the leader in mobile brand advertising, announced today the appointment of Lizzie Black to the role of Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, East.
In her new role, Black will be tasked with driving new and continued business with the advertising industry’s foremost agencies and trading desks, focused specifically on the East Coast region. Her years of experience fostering business strategy and development will be valuable as she helps Kargo continue to build global partnerships. Black will be based in Kargo’s New York headquarters and will report directly to Senior Vice President of Sales, East, Kevin Canty.
During her 12 years of experience on both the publishing side of the ad business and the interactive and mobile side, Black has held various positions at Hearst, Bauer, Meredith and Valassis. Most recently, Black served as Federated Media’s Regional Vice President for the East Coast where she was responsible for leading all new business efforts for the content marketing company in the East Coast region.
“As a seasoned sales leader, Lizzie has built deep relationships across the business at both the agency and client levels. We’re thrilled to have one of the industry’s top talents join Kargo to help expand our business, protect existing customer relationships and generate new long-lasting partnerships with the top publishers and brands,” said Canty.
Black commented on her appointment, “Within the past year, Kargo has transformed the mobile landscape for brands, publishers and consumers by developing engaging ads that reach eight out of ten smartphone users in the US. I’m looking forward to being a part of Kargo’s continued growth and success.”
