ANAHEIM, Calif.--()--Hestan Commercial, maker of the most advanced commercial kitchen appliances on the market, has formed a philanthropic partnership with The Culinary Institute of America (CIA) to provide equipment, products and services to multiple facilities on CIA campuses, including teaching kitchens, restaurant kitchen lines, theaters and conference facilities.

Recognized as the world’s premier culinary college, the CIA is an accredited, not-for-profit college, with campuses located in Hyde Park, New York; St. Helena, California; San Antonio, Texas; and Singapore. The CIA offers bachelor’s degrees in management, culinary science, and applied food studies; associate degrees in culinary arts and baking & pastry arts; and credit and noncredit education programs, consulting services, thought leadership conferences, and research and development for the food, wine and hospitality industries.

“We are very excited about Hestan’s philanthropic support of The Culinary Institute of America and even more enthusiastic about the collaborative nature of our relationship,” said Dr. Tim Ryan, president of the CIA. “The CIA and Hestan have very compatible values, as both organizations are committed to constantly improving and innovating.”

“This partnership is a signature moment for our company given the CIA’s universal influence on the development of the foodservice and hospitality industries,” said Eric Deng, president of Hestan Commercial. “So much of what makes us unique from a concept and design standpoint hinges on direct input from renowned chefs who attended CIA. Supporting the college’s mission to provide the world’s best professional culinary education is a perfect way for us to show our gratitude.”
