Fringe Benefit Group Consolidates Entities

AUSTIN, Texas--()--Fringe Benefit Group, Inc. an industry leader in the design, implementation and administration of benefit plans for hourly workers, today announced that it has consolidated several of its related companies into the Fringe Benefit Group, Inc. organization. Plan Benefit Services, Inc. and Employer Plan Services, Inc. (EPSI) have changed their legal names to Fringe Benefit Group, Inc.

“We have made several strategic acquisitions in the past couple of years and the time was right for us to consolidate all of those brands into one, which is Fringe Benefit Group. We are executing our plan for continued growth with companies that want flexibility in response to the increasing complexities of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and we want to avoid market confusion about who we are,” said Travis West, CEO of Fringe Benefit Group.

Fringe Benefit Group offers plan design, compliance, claims and benefits administration for insured and self-insured major medical, retirement, Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC), and specialty benefits plans (e.g., dental, vision, life and disability coverage) to companies with hourly employees via its two national brands, The Contractors Plan and The American Worker. Fringe Benefit Group works closely with more than 600 brokers across the U.S.

Through its prevailing wage benefit program, The Contractors Plan, the company helps government contractors bid more effectively on public projects while complying with government regulations. For more than 30 years, The Contractors Plan has helped companies bidding on and performing work subject to the Davis-Bacon Act and Service Contract Act, state prevailing wage laws, and living and responsible wage ordinances via its integrated platform of products, compliance support and benefits administration.

Fringe Benefit Group’s voluntary benefit offering, The American Worker, is specifically designed for employers looking for a plan for hourly and variable hour employees that is affordable, flexible, and easily administered. The American Worker provides employers with a best-in-class benefits package, communication and enrollment services, and unique billing and premium payment options.
