Motive Directional Drilling Decision-Automation Now Available Through Channel Partners

DALLAS--()--The MOTIVE™ Bit Guidance System is now available through a select number of innovative top-tier directional drilling companies through a Channel Partner program. The Bit Guidance System has proven its capability to use machine intelligence to significantly decrease drilling costs while increasing hydrocarbon production potential.

The Channel Partner Program will allow these companies to offer the technology as part of their field services, enabling them to provide the absolute best directional drilling service to their clients in the most cost effective manner possible. Within two weeks of offering the program, three of the top tier US directional drilling service providers have signed agreements with Motive to participate in the program. These include Quintana Energy Services, Phoenix Technology Services, and Scientific Drilling International.

“Although Motive will continue promoting the technology directly to oil and gas operators, we recommend procurement of the system through these channel partners to ensure that the system is operated by Motive certified and trained personnel,” said Motive VP-Business Development, Bill Chmela. “The Bit Guidance System enables these directional drilling service providers to redefine field roles, scale expertise, and provide improved services while lowering drilling costs. The current downturn in the industry has accentuated the need for these new technologies focused on reducing cost."
