FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Trividia Health, Inc., announced today that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has cleared its TRUE METRIX® GO Self-Monitoring blood glucose system – an innovative, fully-featured, convenience-sized device for people with diabetes to measure blood glucose.
As the diabetes store-brand leader and largest U.S. manufacturer of diabetes products for the store brand market, Trividia Health is making the announcement to healthcare executives attending the opening day of the National Association of Chain Drug Stores Annual Meeting in Palm Beach, Florida.
Designed for convenience, the TRUE METRIX GO meter easily twists on to a vial of TRUE METRIX test strips. With the accompanying GoPak carrier, the meter, vial of test strips and mini lancing device consolidate into a compact, all-in-one blood glucose system that can be placed in a shirt pocket, purse or bag.
The new TRUE METRIX GO is small in size but big on features. “The simple-to-operate, convenience-oriented design, enhanced performance features and full download capability make this product the perfect meter for patients to test more often, understand their glucose readings and stay better connected to more effectively manage their diabetes,” said Scott Verner, President and CEO of Trividia Health.
The new blood glucose system is backed by clinical performance. TRUE METRIX GO joins the family of advanced performance systems that includes the TRUE METRIX and TRUE METRIX AIR meters that utilizes TRUE METRIX test strips.
