WASHINGTON--()--The tens of thousands of viewers who have become addicted to watching Bald Eagles “Mr. President” & “The First Lady” on the D.C. Eagle Nest Cam (dceaglecam.org) may want to keep their eyes glued to their computer screens this week to hopefully see two fuzzy eaglets hatch from their eggs.

The first egg was laid on Feb. 10 and the second was laid on Valentine’s Day. Bald eagle eggs typically hatch about 35 days after being laid, so the first egg could hatch as early as Tuesday, March 15.

Viewers who think they can guess the exact day and time that the eggs will hatch should hashtag #dceaglecam on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram with their prediction (Eastern Standard Time, please)!
