IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ben Anderson, Branch Manager and Vice President of Mortgage Lending for Guaranteed Rate, was nominated recently by the OCBJ for its Excellence in Entrepreneurship Awards.
The Excellence in Entrepreneurship Awards program is designed to recognize individuals who exemplify the American entrepreneurial spirit – individuals who, by their creativity and determination, have established and nurtured successful business ventures.
This is the 15th year of the awards and each year over a hundred of Orange County leading Entrepreneurs are honored with nominations.

Ben Anderson was also #2 Nationally in Refinances in 2014, according to Scotsman Guide. Ben’s total closed sales for both home purchase and refinances exceed more than $1 billion over the past five years with more than 2,000 closed mortgages. Ben Anderson was recognized by MPA Magazine as one of the “100 Hottest Mortgage Professionals in the country” in 2013 and 2014.
Not only does Ben Anderson originate his own business, he also manages Guaranteed Rate Inc. (Irvine, Ca). Ben opened the Guaranteed Rate Inc., Orange County, CA mortgage lending office in August of 2014 with 6 employees, and by the end of 2015 had 42. The Guaranteed Rate Irvine office started from scratch in 2014, and closed $500,000,000 in residential loans in 2015.
In addition to his business acumen, Ben Anderson has been extremely active in his home community in Northern California. Ben is a supporter and is heavily involved with the Bay Area Rescue Mission, the largest non-profit organization in the Bay Area.
Ben graduated from Biola University in La Mirada, CA where he was a collegiate baseball player.
