MINNEAPOLIS--()--iSpace Furniture, Inc. (iSpace), the Twin Cities premier office furniture dealership, is pleased to announce its recent substantial growth, which leads to the acquisition of The Furniture Source, Inc. (FSI) of Eden Prairie as well as plans to open a new office and showroom in Mankato, Minn.

With a strong history in providing exceptional customer service and high-quality office furniture, iSpace acquired FSI in January of 2016. Together, both brands will operate under the iSpace Furniture brand and will utilize their combined 40 years of expertise to continue providing consumers with the same great service they have come to expect. The acquisition expands iSpace’s current capabilities by providing an in-house installation team, which will work alongside leadership in the company’s headquarters at 811 Glenwood Avenue in Minneapolis. The FSI facility at 6813 Shady Oak Road in Eden Prairie will continue to be utilized as warehouse facility and a showroom for unique products.

iSpace and FSI both provide a broad portfolio of commercial furniture, architectural products, accessories and relocation services to small, medium and large organizations in corporate, education, healthcare and government markets throughout Minnesota and extending to locations nationally and internationally.

“iSpace had a great relationship with leadership at The Furniture Source for many years,” said Joel Peterson, CEO of iSpace Furniture. “This acquisition brings together the talents of two complementary companies with similar core values dedicated to customer experience and the creation of great places for people to work.”

In addition to its recent acquisition, iSpace has also hired a manager for the Mankato market who will help build a team and assist in plans for a new office and showroom. This new outpost will further expand the customer reach that iSpace is able to provide to customers in the western and southern areas of the state.

iSpace’s client list has included international companies from Polaris, Piper Jaffray, and Hershey to local heavy hitters like Alerus, LeadPages, CoCo Coworking and Collaborative Spaces, Sport Ngin, Rocket55, Irish Titan and Link Snacks, Inc.
