Antares Capital Selects Industry Veterans to Lead Finance, HR, IT and Legal

CHICAGO--()--Antares Capital announced today that it has hired four industry veterans to lead its finance, human resources, IT and legal functions. The executives have joined Antares since December 2015 or will be joining during the first quarter of 2016. They include Mary Cecola as chief information officer, Bruce Frank as general counsel, Barry Giarraputo as chief financial officer and Lisa Jablonski as managing director and head of Human Resources.

Ms. Cecola, based in Chicago, has extensive experience leading the IT function within financial services firms. She joins Antares from Federal Home Loan Bank (FHLB) of Des Moines where she served as chief business technology officer. Prior to FHLB, Ms. Cecola was global CIO, asset management for Deutsche Bank and held IT-related roles at Zurich Scudder Investments, Scudder Kemper Investments and Zurich Kemper Investments.

Mr. Frank, based in Chicago, is an experienced attorney with a deep background in financial services. He most recently served as managing director, general counsel and corporate secretary of NXT Capital LLC, a position he held since its inception in 2010. Previously, Mr. Frank held roles with GE Capital, Merrill Lynch Capital and Heller Financial. He began his legal career with Goldberg, Kohn, Bell, Black, Rosenbloom & Moritz Ltd.

Mr. Giarraputo, based in New York, is a seasoned leader with broad experience in investment management finance. He joins Antares from 40 North Management where he served as chief operating officer. Prior to that role, Mr. Giarraputo was with Apollo Global Management as an executive officer, chief accounting officer and controller, and CFO at various Apollo subsidiaries. Mr. Giarraputo also managed the company’s global treasury and valuation functions. Earlier in his career, Mr. Giarraputo held roles with Bear Stearns and PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

Ms. Jablonski, based in Chicago, has a strong and varied professional background with a track record of success building HR teams in both large and small financial services businesses. She joins Antares from Calamos Asset Management where she led the Human Resources function. Previously, Ms. Jablonski held a variety of operational and HR roles at Zurich Insurance and Aon Hewitt.
