SAN FRANCISCO--()--Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE:WFC) launched its new Wells Fargo Propel American Express® Card, the third offering in the company’s suite of American Express Cards including the Propel 365 Card and Propel World Card. The new Card has no annual fee1 and offers customers the ability to maximize everyday spending to earn rewards faster, the ability to participate in the Wells Fargo Rewards® Program1 and access to a suite of purchase and travel protections2.

In 2014, we launched our first two Propel American Express Cards as part of our goal to earn more of our customers’ business,” said Beverly Anderson, head of Consumer Financial Services for Wells Fargo. “Since then, we have heard from our customers that they like the Propel 365 Card and Propel World Card but wanted us to find a way to offer a card with similar features without paying an annual fee – so that’s what we did.”

The new Wells Fargo Propel American Express Card maximizes a Cardholder’s everyday spending by offering triple rewards points on U.S. gas purchases and double points on U.S. restaurant charges. Propel Cardholders can also take advantage of an annual Wells Fargo relationship bonus to earn an extra 10 percent on their rewards points by maintaining a qualifying Wells Fargo checking or savings account or a PMA® Package.

As part of the Wells Fargo Rewards® Program, Cardholders can combine rewards accounts associated with different Wells Fargo credit card products. Additionally, Cardholders will enjoy many great redemption options as well as the Earn More Mall® feature available at MyWellsFargoRewards.com.

Wells Fargo customers can apply for the Cards online, over the phone or by visiting one of our 6,000 retail store locations. For additional details, visit www.wellsfargo.com/credit-cards/propel.

This credit card program is issued and administered by Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., pursuant to a license from American Express. American Express is a federally registered service mark of American Express.
