RICHMOND, Va. & SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Blue Heron Capital, a growth equity and lower market private equity firm, participated in a $25M Series C investment in PresenceLearning, the leading provider of live online speech therapy, occupational therapy, and behavior and mental health services for K-12 students. Blue Heron joined Catalyst Investors, Birchmere Ventures, Catamount Ventures, and New Markets Venture Partners in the financing.
Founded in 2009, PresenceLearning addresses the growing shortage of speech language pathologists, occupational therapists, and behavioral and mental health service providers by connecting clinicians and students via its award-winning platform and marketplace. The company intends to continue its growth within these areas while also expanding into additional allied health fields and new user populations.
