The Combat Wounded Coalition Announces New Sponsor

etailinsights Helps Support Long-Term Needs of Combat-Wounded Soldiers

CHESAPEAKE, Va.--()--The Combat Wounded Coalition announced today that etailinsights, a leading eCommerce data provider, has joined its growing list of supporters. etailinsights has signed a two-year commitment for the Freedom Level Sponsorship, a $5000 annual sponsorship commitment, to support this unique non-profit organization dedicated to meeting the long-term needs of combat-wounded warriors by providing direct services and partnering with like-minded organizations.

This sponsorship commitment will assist the Combat Wounded Coalition in executing their four program pillars of Pride, Power, Purpose and Peace. Building Pride and recognition of warriors’ sacrifices through the distribution of a clothing kit that identifies them as a Purple Heart recipient and providing clothing modifications to assist those with medical devices that inhibit normal wear of clothing. The Power program, which offers activities to warriors that bring a sense of empowerment and the ability to overcome challenges. The Purpose program, which connects warriors to programs and other organizations that can assist with jobs, education and housing. Finally, the Peace program, which helps warriors find peace with themselves by providing warriors with alternatives to traditional pharmacological and drug-based treatments for PTSD, Traumatic Brain injuries, and other emotional challenges.

The Combat Wounded Coalition (originally Wounded Wear) was founded in 2008 by Jason Redman, a retired Navy SEAL, wounded warrior and the author of The Trident: The Forging and Reforging of a Navy SEAL Leader. While the coalition is doing amazing work, Redman is the first to admit that they can’t do it alone. “We are committed to helping these warriors, but we can’t do it alone. We rely on the support from volunteers, sponsors, donors and partners to provide combat wounded warriors with the help they need throughout every phase of their life. It truly does take a coalition to achieve success,” he explained. “This support from etailinsights will help us serve even more warriors, helping them get the support they need and deserve.”

This call for support has already been heard loud and clear by many companies including etailinsights, and their CEO explained: “I have always been passionate about supporting our soldiers, both active duty and Veterans. I met Jay a few years ago, and the respect I have for him and other warriors has intensified after seeing what he overcame and went on to accomplish after being wounded in combat,” said Darren Pierce, CEO at etailinsights. “This sponsorship is just one small way to honor the service and sacrifice of these warriors, and it is a true privilege for us here at etailinsights to be involved with such an amazing organization.”
