Finnegans Wins The Hub Cup

The Hub Magazine honors Finnegans’ Reverse Food Truck for excellence in the brand experience

WESTPORT, Conn.--()--Finnegans’ “Reverse Food Truck” has won best-of-show honors in the fifth annual Hub Prize competition, sponsored by The Hub Magazine and announced at an awards dinner on October 28, 2015, at the Helen Mills Theater in New York City.

The Hub Prize recognizes excellence in the brand experience, which The Hub defines as each and every opportunity a brand has to keep its promise to its customers.

Finnegans is a Minneapolis-based beer brand that donates 100% of its profits to local community projects in five states. Its Reverse Food Truck turns food-truck culture on its head by collecting food instead of serving it, and then donating the goods to families in need.

As the Hub Prize best-of-show winner, Finnegans and its agency, Martin Williams, are the recipient of the coveted Hub Cup, a handcrafted, solid-bronze trophy. The Hub also awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze medals based on evaluations by a panel of 27 judges, including leading practitioners, academics and other brand experience leaders.

The Hub Cup and Gold Hub Prize winners will be featured in the Nov/Dec print edition of The Hub Magazine, and the Silver and Bronze in its website and app.

This year’s Gold winners include Starbucks, JetBlue, Coca-Cola, Haagen-Dazs, PepsiCo, Arby’s, Ace Hardware, MilkPEP, El Palacio de Hierro, Nivea, Johnson’s and Aetna. Silver winners include Wrigley, Bentley Motors, AT&T, Ferrero Rocher, Progressive Insurance, Big Heart Pet, Kleenex, Neuroth, Scott, Pequeno Editor, Vi and Valspar, and winners of Bronze medals include PepsiCo, Comcast, Salesforce, Tom’s of Maine, Avon, BIC, Mike’s Hard Lemonade, Lotte Duty Free, Ben & Jerry’s, Polaris, 7-Eleven and Westin Hotels & Resorts.

Founded in 2004, The Hub is a community of brand-experience leaders at the world’s largest brands and their agencies. Its mission is to build knowledge about the brand experience and help optimize it. The Hub Magazine also hosts The Hub Live, a symposium centered on the brand experience, and sponsors The Hub Top 20, an annual ranking of excellence in shopper marketing.
