LOS ANGELES--()--Hoping to attract even more needy veterans, U.S.VETS, the nation’s largest nonprofit serving homeless and at-risk veterans, has launched a new website highlighting its mental health services.

Outside the Wire operates at 12 Southern California community colleges and technical schools and at Patriotic Hall in downtown Los Angeles. The new website can be found at www.usvetsoutsidethewire.org.

“We want veterans and their families to know we’re here for them,” said Stephen J. Peck, president and CEO of U.S.VETS. “The new website lays out all the different services available from a team of excellent professionals.”

Individual, group, and family therapies offered through Outside the Wire include:

Cognitive Behavior Therapy Interventions (CBT)
Substance Abuse Intervention
Parenting Skills Intervention
Anger Management Strategies

“By bringing these preventative and early mental health treatment options to veterans,” Peck said, “Outside the Wire helps to increase their chances of transitioning successfully to civilian life.”
