CINCINNATI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Great American Insurance Group is pleased to announce that the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) has granted a formal license approval for its flagship insurance company, Great American Insurance Company, to establish a branch operation in Singapore. With this authorisation, MAS has also approved the appointment of Mr. Chee Keng Koon as the Chief Executive of Great American Insurance Company – Singapore Branch.
Mr. Chee brings with him more than 30 years of deep business experience and knowledge in the Singapore and Asian general and marine insurance markets. He is well-known across the Asian region with ship owners, maritime industry experts, insurance agents, insurance brokers and other insurance industry participants.
Mr. Chee will be supported by an established leadership team that will bolster the company’s strategy in delivering insurance solutions that meet the needs of the market.
