Unit4 Establishes Government Advisory Team; Appoints Former UK Cabinet Office Shared Services Strategy Director

UTRECHT, Netherlands--()--Unit4, a fast growing leader in enterprise applications for service organizations, today announced the establishment of a global Government Advisory Team and the appointment of Paul Marriner, former director for the UK government’s shared services strategy and technology advisor for government procurement.

Paul takes the role of Global Head of Government Advisory. He will lead a specialist public sector team focused on working with customers on ERP and Shared Services strategies to help them deliver maximum value for money for their taxpayers.

Paul has vast experience within the sector specializing in leading transformation through shared services, IT and ERP solutions. During his time at the UK Cabinet Office, Paul was successful in delivering the strategy to reduce back office costs through the adoption of shared services by £130 million annually. This was achieved through maximizing performance of the centers, promoting the adoption of services and delivering shared ERP solutions. Other roles included Client Partner for the UK Home Office working for Fujitsu, and leading on the development of the UK National Health Service HR and Payroll system which has paid 1.3 million employees for over 10 years. He began his career in accountancy and has utilized that experience to deliver expert consultancy in both the public and private sectors to global organizations of all sizes.
