AUSTIN, Texas--()--The Patient Recruiting AgencyTM announces the initiation of enhanced recruitment in 14 US markets for a clinical research study of individuals with lupus nephritis. Lupus nephritis is kidney inflammation caused by systemic lupus erythematosus.

Clinical research study participants must be age 18 to 75 and diagnosed with lupus (systemic lupus erythematosus). Also, study participants must have active nephritis, or kidney inflammation, at the time of enrollment. The general purpose of this clinical research study is to assess the efficacy and safety of the study drug compared to placebo. Study participants will receive the standard of care treatment in active lupus nephritis in addition to the study drug or placebo.
