DENVER--()--Prescient, a Denver-based software design and structural system manufacturing company, today announced that its innovative design, engineering and construction platform is being used for Hyatt House at Belmar, a new hotel in Lakewood, Colorado. Prescient will start installation of the building’s structure later this month.

Prescient’s patented structural system and proprietary building information modeling (BIM) software provide an ideal construction solution for hotels and other multi-unit buildings up to 12 stories. The system provides as much as 35 percent cost savings over traditional building materials and can reduce the structural core construction schedule by up to 50 percent, enabling significant reduction in overall construction.

“It’s exciting that we’re now adding hotels to the growing list of building types constructed using the Prescient system. This includes luxury apartments, affordable senior residences, military facilities and more to come,” said Prescient founder, John Vanker. “Prescient is in a rapid growth period right now with interest coming in across the nation from developers, architects, engineers and construction companies.”

The 135-room, 96 thousand square foot Hyatt House at Belmar will include a podium level and five stories using the Prescient structure as well as amenity spaces on the first floor for a pool, workout room and large gathering spaces. The Hyatt House at Belmar is scheduled to open in early 2016.

Prescient structure is non-combustible and the company recently received Underwriters Laboratories (UL) listings - recognized by architects, engineers and building professionals as certifying that building products are code compliant.
