RALEIGH, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--6fusion, the company standardizing the economic measurement of IT infrastructure and cloud services, is part of the Stop Diabetes® movement by sponsoring a team of riders to participate in the NC Tour de Cure May 16-17, 2015 at Cary, NC, the American Diabetes Association’s annual cycling event that raises money to help change the future of diabetes and help stop its devastating complications.

Cyclists from around the region will gather at one of seven routes to participate in the event to help raise fund to stop this devastating disease. They will join more than 65,000 other cyclists and volunteers from across the country. Individuals and teams composed of co-workers, family and friends are taking the ride of their life by helping raise funds for the nearly 26 million Americans with diabetes. Tour de Cure is designed for anyone from the occasional to the experienced cyclist with routes from 10-mile family rides to 200-mile rides. The route will feature rest stops with food to fuel the journey and volunteers to cheer riders on.
6fusion will be organizing a team a riders that includes employees and their spouses including CEO John Cowan and his wife, Anna.
The Tour de Cure raises funds through registration fees and pledges collected by the cyclists. The American Diabetes Association is leading the fight to Stop Diabetes and its deadly consequences and fighting for those affected by diabetes. The Association funds research to prevent, cure and manage diabetes; delivers services to hundreds of communities; provides objective and credible information; and gives voice to those denied their rights because of diabetes.
