Granite Announces Video Contest Winners and Kicks-Off Safety Week 2015

WATSONVILLE, Calif.--()--In recognition of Safety Week 2015, Granite Construction Incorporated today announced the winners in its first Live Safe Work Safe video contest. The winning video was revealed on the Company’s Facebook page earlier today.

Granite employees were invited to participate by creating a one-minute video that demonstrated how they embody safety as a core value at home or at work. Thirty-four entries were received with the top videos chosen by popular vote. A panel of safety experts from Granite awarded the $1000 grand prize to Granite Foreman, Jason Madsen, for his video, “#livesafeworksafe for the ones you love.”

Safety Week 2015 is an industry-wide effort comprising construction firms across the U.S. who are working together to eliminate worker injury.
