COLUMBUS, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--NetJets® Inc., a Berkshire Hathaway company and the worldwide leader in private aviation, announced the integration of a new In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) system into all its Signature Series aircraft. The IFE system streams movies, television shows, news and other information to the customer’s personal devices, and is continuously refreshed with the latest content. This addition to the Signature Series is just one more convenience exclusive to NetJets customers in the U.S.

IFE is currently being installed in the new Signature Series aircraft entering the fleet starting with the Phenom 300. By the end of 2016 the system will be retrofitted on all Signature Series aircraft including the Challenger, Global, and Latitude fleets in the U.S. and Europe.
NetJets Entertainment is an application (app) for use on a passenger’s personal tablet, laptop, or the NetJets device assigned to the aircraft, and it is exclusive to NetJets. A server installed on the aircraft is automatically updated with content upon landing at one of more than a dozen designated locations around the U.S.
The initiative, developed by Gogo Business Aviation LLC, a leading provider of in-flight connectivity and entertainment solutions to the business aviation market, will provide NetJets customers with a full suite of IFE capabilities including voice and texting (via personal smartphones and mobile numbers), Internet, e-mail, on-demand movies, TV episodes, news, moving maps, flight progress information and destination weather.
