NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Rithm, a Toronto-based music messaging company, announced today the launch of its commercial service, which focuses on a social music experience and a unique streaming option for $3.99 a month. Rithm has partnered with Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, Warner Music Group, The Orchard and other music industry players to provide users with a large catalogue of licensed music to share and play with friends.
Rithm has also partnered with major artists such as Steve Aoki, Migos, Zeds Dead and The Chainsmokers to provide music fans with exclusive artist emojis and other exclusive content and virtual goods in the platform.
With the new service, there is a free (ad-supported) tier where users can share unlimited song clips, chat with friends and enjoy Rithm’s popular animated emojis. Rithm is also introducing a new premium tier, called Rithm Gold, which allows users to stream full tracks in their chats and create an on-demand playlist, for $3.99 a month.
Rithm’s goal is provide the best social music experience for music fans, at a price that is affordable. Rithm integrates song sharing with a real-time interactive chat service capturing how today’s consumers engage with content and each other on mobile.

Rithm is available on iOS and Android. After signing up, all users are being given a free 14-day trial of Rithm Gold. At the expiration of the free trial, users can subscribe for $3.99 a month to continue the full track streaming experience or enjoy the free (ad-supported) tier of the service, which is clips-based.
