Wasatch Advisors Announces Expansion of Portfolio-Management Team for Wasatch Long/Short Fund

SALT LAKE CITY--()--Terry Lally has joined Wasatch Advisors as a Senior Research Analyst and a member of the portfolio-management team to work alongside Portfolio Managers Michael Shinnick and Ralph Shive on the Wasatch Long/Short Fund (FMLSX).

Before joining Wasatch Advisors, Mr. Lally was chief investment officer of Spotlight Funds and Spotlight Capital Management, which he co-founded in 2007. Prior to that, he was a portfolio manager and principal with Cramer Rosenthal McGlynn in New York. He began his investment career in 1989 as an analyst with Prudential Investments.

He has received recognition for his investment ideas and performance, including winning Institutional Investor’s InvestPitch in 2014 and being selected as one of four finalists in the Sohn Conference Idea Contest in 2013.

Mr. Lally graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame. He later earned a Master of Business Administration from Harvard University. He is also a CFA charterholder.
