NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Wunderman, the world’s largest global digital agency network, has acquired a majority stake in Phantasia, the largest digital marketing agency in Peru.

Phantasia, a Wunderman affiliate since 2012, will be renamed Wunderman Phantasia, and currently employs over 200 people, with clients that include Telefónica, Backus/SABMiller, Grupo Credito, Samsung and Coca-Cola. Phantasia’s management team—led by Paul Thorndike, CEO; José-Carlos Mariategui, managing director; and José Aburto, chief creative officer—will continue to lead the company.
Founded in 1999 and based in Lima, Phantasia provides consulting, digital marketing, creative and media buying services to its clients. Phantasia’s gross revenues for 2014 are expected to be S/.25 million (USD $8.3 million).
