Based survey responses from nearly 1,000 HR professionals, SilkRoad’s 2015 State of Talent Management Report, Powering Up Talent Management for Business Performance: A Close Look at Progress and Trends, suggests talent management technology, employee engagement and retention, and HR strategy to help HR professionals charge up their organizations for the year ahead. Methodology

Powering Up Talent Management for Business Performance draws on the results of four surveys: Talent Management Technology, HR Strategy, What Keeps HR Up at Night?, and the Human Resource Management System. These surveys were conducted May through November 2014 with results collected online using Web-based survey tools and targeting Talent Management professionals, including Human Resources and Learning and Development. 961 professionals responded. 53% of respondents worked in companies of more than 500 employees. Respondents’ titles ranged from Chief Human Resource Officer, Vice President, Director, and Manager of Human Resources, to Global Head of HR Quality, Director of Learning and Development, Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition, and more. An experienced group, 58% of respondents had more than 10 years of experience in the industry as talent management professionals.
