FREMONT, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hurricane Electric, the world’s largest IPv6-native Internet backbone and leading colocation provider, today announced that it has launched a channel partner program to help broaden the reach of its Internet connectivity and colocation services. Hurricane Electric launched the channel partner program to allow outside agents the opportunity to sell Hurricane Electric’s services, which include nearly 300,000 square feet of data center space in Silicon Valley as well as global IP transit that is accessible in twenty-two countries and twenty US states. Agents with experience selling IP transit and/or colocation are encouraged to apply to participate in the HE.net Channel Program.
The HE.net Channel Program offers its partners the following benefits:
- Instant Lead Registration
- Access to Pricing Specials
- Access to Hurricane Electric’s Sales Portal
- Competitive Commission Rates and Other Incentives
“Hurricane Electric is excited to launch this channel partner program and announce the addition of our inaugural Master Agent, Open Spectrum,” said Mark Welch, Director, Channel Sales Development at Hurricane Electric. “I am confident that Open Spectrum and other partners that join Hurricane Electric’s channel partner program will help us broaden the depth and reach of our next generation IP transit and colocation services.”
Hurricane Electric offers some of the most competitive IP transit prices the North American and European markets. For example, with a three year contract, customers can get a GigE for $500.00 per month with no set-up fee. Additionally, those taking part in Hurricane Electric’s channel partner program may have the opportunity to sell other vendors’ local transport and/or colocation services that are complementary to Hurricane Electric’s IP Transit service.
“Open Spectrum looks forward to our partnership with a leading technology player like Hurricane Electric,” said Sean Patrick Tario, Founder and CEO, Open Spectrum, Inc. “ For the last twenty years, Hurricane Electric has been at the forefront of next generation Internet technology and was the first to bring attention to the importance of IPv6 adoption. Hurricane Electric’s forward thinking culture coupled with Open Spectrum’s penetration in the market will ensure continued growth for both companies.”
