ICF International and the George Washington University Form Strategic Teaming Arrangement

FAIRFAX, Va.--()--ICF International, a leading provider of consulting services and technology solutions to government and commercial clients, announced today that it has signed a strategic teaming arrangement with the George Washington University (GW) with the goal of identifying opportunities where the two can collaborate on potential business. Together, ICF and GW will pursue research and development, advisory, implementation, and assessment opportunities specifically related, but not limited, to the areas of federal health and transportation.

ICF and GW will advance research in federal health and transportation; identify grant and contract opportunities; develop opportunities for exchange of students, faculty and executives; engage in strategic planning, policy development and information guidance for federal initiatives; and develop white papers, journal articles, conferences and workshops.

“This effort combines the industry expertise and rigor of ICF International with the academic excellence and research insight of the George Washington University to provide a very capable team in the marketplace,” said Andy Robinson, senior vice president for ICF International. “Further, our arrangement broadens the reach and market exposure of both ICF and GW and provides innovation and a fresh perspective on research issues that require efficient and effective management.”

The arrangement is a natural extension of ICF’s longstanding relationship with GW’s Homeland Security Policy Institute (HSPI), where ICF is Executive Sponsor. HSPI is a nonpartisan "think and do" tank with the mission of building bridges between theory and practice to advance homeland security through an interdisciplinary approach.
