PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Janney announced today that Kevin Reed has been named Senior Vice President, head of Wealth Management. Reed most recently served as Managing Director, Taxable Fixed Income at Janney where he was responsible for the firm’s Retail and Institutional Taxable Trading and Sales businesses as well as Fixed Income Research and Strategy. Kevin was also appointed a member of Janney’s Executive Committee. Reed replaces David Penn, who recently transitioned to become a Senior Vice President/Wealth Management and Financial Advisor in Janney’s Bryn Mawr office.

Mr. Reed joined Janney in 2007 from the Radian Group, Inc. where he was responsible for credit research and portfolio management for Radian’s $5 billion investment portfolio. In addition, his experience includes roles in firms including LPL Financial, AIG Advisor Group and Fiserv Securities.
