AvalonBay Communities, Inc. is a real estate investment trust focused on developing, redeveloping, acquiring and managing high-quality apartment communities. NavigationArts worked with AvalonBay to develop a new user experience that places their customer at the center of an optimized digital experience. The new AvalonBay Communities site makes it easy for customers to find, browse, compare, and apply for the perfect apartment. The site delivers a simple, satisfying, and responsive experience for customers using desktops, tablets and smartphones.

Using Sitecore 7.1 as the Content Management System, and specialized APIs to integrate real-time pricing and inventory availability, the new digital platform can easily manage the various brands, numerous communities, and content elements including floorplans, maps, and directions through a centralized platform.
