Odeon Capital Group Expands Los Angeles Presence with New Office and Additional Hires

LOS ANGELES--()--Odeon Capital Group, a New York headquartered full-service broker-dealer, is pleased to announce the expansion of its mortgage sales and trading team by the hiring of Kevin Doyle and John Ou and the opening of a second Los Angeles office in Century City. “Kevin and John bring immediate impactful talent and knowledge, given their diverse and relevant backgrounds” says Evan Schwartzberg, Co-Founder and Head of Sales and Trading. “Odeon is continuing to capitalize on opportunities created in the aftermath of the banking crisis. About Kevin Doyle

Kevin Doyle started in the MBS market in 1993 at PaineWebber and then trading Agency ARMs and ABS prior to joining Countrywide in 2000 where he was co-head of all non-agency trading. In 2008 he co-founded 12th Street Capital, a regional broker dealer focused on mortgages. 12th Street was sold to GFI Group in June 2010 where Kevin oversaw the MBS/ABS/ABX trading desks until September 2012. Mr. Doyle sits on the boards of the Santa Monica Boys & Girls Club and Vyclone.

About John Ou

John Ou began his career at Countrywide where he traded agency ARMs until 2004, when he joined Descap Securities. In 2006, John left Descap to join Guggenheim Securities until 2011. After Guggenheim, he headed up all non-agency RMBS trading at G2 Capital Markets. John worked at Brean Capital and Pierpont Securities before joining Odeon Capital Group. John holds a BA in Economics from the UCLA and an MBA from USC.
