INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Family owned and Indiana-based Salin Bank and Trust Company today announced that Michael Davis has joined its mortgage team and will focus on residential home mortgage lending throughout central Indiana.
Michael Davis brings 15 years of banking and financial services experience to his new position at Salin Bank & Trust Company, including 10 years at BMO Financial Group where he supported up to 90 branches across the state of Indiana as Regional Retail Sales Manager and Community Market President. In addition to Michael’s work in retail leadership, he began his banking career as a teller for First National Bank & Trust and held various branch positions including Bank Manager of multiple locations as well as mortgage loan assistant in the Indianapolis, Carmel, and Noblesville markets.
In his new position as a Vice President and Mortgage Consultant, Michael will be focused on the development, growth, and retention of Salin Bank & Trust’s mortgage clients as well as building new relationships with professional realtors and home builders. His clients will benefit from his customer-centric approach, where every solution will be custom tailored to their individual situation utilizing Salin Bank’s competitive home lending programs.

Michael has accomplished many professional achievements during his diverse career, inside and outside the banking industry, including 2011 BMO Harris Select Award Winner, 15 public performances in New York’s Carnegie Hall, and performances with Grand Ole Opry Stars. He holds the Doctor of Arts degree from Ball State University in Music Performance and Organizational Leadership.
Michael remains active in the local community through his work with the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir, where he has been the assistant artistic director for 12 years, as well as an active member of First Presbyterian Church of Noblesville, where he also serves as their Director of Music.
