David Giunta Named to Board of The Partnership, Inc.

BOSTON--()--The Partnership, Inc. today announced David Giunta will join its board of directors, effective immediately. Giunta currently serves as president and chief executive officer of Natixis Global Asset Management – U.S. Distribution, where he oversees business activities of the firm’s U.S.-based affiliated investment managers. Natixis Global Asset Management was recently named the number one U.S. mutual fund family by the annual Barron’s/Lipper Ranking.

Prior leading Natixis Global Asset Management, Giunta served as president of Fidelity Investment's Charitable Gift Fund, one of the largest public charities in the United States. Giunta joined Fidelity in 1994, holding a number of positions before becoming president of the Charitable Gift Fund, including senior vice president of Fidelity's Eastern Region Investors Centers, director of Fidelity’s Private Wealth Management Products & Services Group and senior vice president of the Managed Money Group for Personal Investments.

The program is designed to foster professional relationships, broaden awareness of critical issues impacting The Commonwealth, as well as creating a dialogue on local, national and global matters.

Giunta attended Boston College as both an undergraduate and graduate before joining BankBoston as an analyst and serving as assistant vice president of new product development for Putnam Investments. In addition to his work with The Partnership, Inc., Giunta also serves on the Board of Trustees for Bentley University, the Pingree School, the Board of Ambassadors of the Home for Little Wanderers, and the Board of Directors of Campus Compact.
