Log Monitor By Monitis Enhances Server and Application Monitoring Capabilities

New Feature Allows Monitoring for Any Type of Log File

TAMPA, Fla.--()--Monitis, the monitoring specialist, announced today a new powerful feature for the company’s all-in-one monitoring suite: Log Monitor. With the new feature users can now monitor any type of log files. This particularly boosts the server and application monitoring capabilities of Monitis. Furthermore, it supplies valuable information for debugging as it facilitates detecting changes in log activities that could hurt the performance of a website.

Traditional log file monitoring is a relatively proprietary matter. The new Monitis Log Monitor eliminates these boundaries. Users can now monitor any type of log file available on their file system independently of an application, system log, or any other .txt-file used for data mining.

Log Monitor lets users set up their own alert rules and organize them according to their daily business needs. This provides the means to quickly recognize reoccurring patterns, which is an extremely helpful feature since monitoring tends to generate surges of data. That way, users can proactively look for and detect file log changes for error messages, server connection failures, DNS errors, potential malicious activity, and many more.

“The new Log Monitor not only leverages the capabilities of our solution, it also has the potential to make the life of system administrators a whole lot easier,” says Mikayel Vardanyan, Director of Operations at Monitis. “We are convinced that the increase in user comfort speaks for itself as it helps our users to protect and support their business cases way more effectively.”
