Singapore Airlines Takes to the Sky with Chase Ultimate RewardsSM

Chase Sapphire Preferred®, Ink Plus® and Ink Bold® Cardholders Can Travel in Luxury with the Newest Chase Ultimate RewardsSM Point Transfer Travel Partner

WILMINGTON, Del.--()--Chase Card Services, a division of JPMorgan Chase & Co., today announced the addition of Singapore Airlines as its newest Chase Ultimate RewardsSM point transfer partner. A premier rewards program for cardholders that seek travel redemption alternatives, Ultimate Rewards offers flexibility, ease and value. Ultimate Rewards’ new partnership allows cardholders to redeem points for travel on Singapore Airlines to destinations spanning a network spread over six continents.

“We are pleased to expand our point transfer offering to include Singapore Airlines, which offers a world class travel experience,” said Jennifer Roberts, president, Affluent & High Net Worth, Chase Card Services. “With Ultimate Rewards, our cardholders will now enjoy added flexibility that allows them to transfer and combine points with their existing KrisFlyer miles, which can be used for flights, upgrades and award tickets on Singapore Airlines, Silk Air, or any airline in the Star Alliance network.”

Under this new partnership, Chase Sapphire Preferred®, Ink Plus® and Ink Bold® cardholders will now be able to transfer Ultimate Rewards points to KrisFlyer, Singapore Airlines’ travel rewards program. Points are transferred at full value – meaning one Ultimate Rewards point is equal to one KrisFlyer mile.

“This new partnership opens a convenient, new avenue for Chase cardholders to reach their KrisFlyer award travel goals,” said C.W. Foo, SIA’s regional vice president – Americas. “Together, Chase Ultimate Rewards and SIA are bringing the opportunity for flights and award-based upgrades even closer.”

Points can be transferred in increments of 1,000 and there are no limits to the number of points cardholders can transfer to KrisFlyer. Point transfers to KrisFlyer will successfully deposit within two business days. Once successfully transferred, KrisFlyer miles can be redeemed for travel and upgrades on Singapore Airlines, SilkAir or any partner airline, including airlines within the Star Alliance network, to more than 1,000 destinations in over 170 countries.

In addition to the point transfer benefit to Singapore Airlines and other travel partners, eligible customers can use 20 percent fewer points when they redeem for travel through Chase Ultimate Rewards. For example, a $500 airline ticket requires just 40,000 points.
