Pritzker Group Expands Private Capital Team

New senior advisor and vice president add to operations and investment capabilities

CHICAGO--()--Pritzker Group Private Capital today announced it has added two new leaders to its investment and operations teams. Veteran manufacturing executive Bill Denton will join as a senior advisor and Chris Trick, formerly of KRG Capital Partners, will serve as a vice-president.

Bill Denton, chairman of Knape & Vogt Manufacturing Company, was named a senior advisor working with the firm’s manufactured products operations team. Denton is the former president and CEO of Fiskars Brands, a global manufacturer and marketer of consumer products, and he spent 25 years with Newell Rubbermaid in senior executive roles. Denton also served on the boards of directors of O’Sullivan Industries, National Manufacturing Company and The International Housewares Association. He is a graduate of Western Michigan University.

Denton will work closely with Milestone AV Technologies, which designs, markets and distributes mounting equipment and display solutions for the audio-visual market. Acquired by Pritzker Group in 2013, Milestone serves more than 5,000 global customers and maintains operations in the U.S., Europe and China.

Pritzker Group Private Capital firm also named Trick, 29, to its investment group where he will help source and execute investments as well as work with the management teams of the firm’s companies. Trick previously served as an associate with KRG Capital Partners, where he helped close 10 transactions valued at nearly $1 billion and helped manage the firm’s portfolio of companies. Trick began his career as an investment banking analyst with Robert W. Baird & Co.

Trick is expected to receive an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business in June 2014 and holds an undergraduate degree in finance from Notre Dame.
