ALDERSHOT, England--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CSC (NYSE:CSC), a global leader in next-generation IT services and solutions, today named Dr. Sanjiv Gossain vice president and managing director for its UK, Ireland and Netherlands region, effective 25 April 2014.
Gossain will be responsible for driving growth for CSC and managing all operations in the UK, Ireland and Netherlands. He will report to John Maguire, executive vice president and general manager for CSC global sales and marketing and regional operations.
With over 25 years of experience in the IT industry, Gossain joins CSC from Cognizant Technology Solutions where he most recently served as senior vice president. During his ten years at Cognizant, he held a number of leadership positions including Global Markets Lead for the telecommunications and media industry, European head of Sales, Marketing and Strategic Engagements, Head of Nordics, and Managing Director of Cognizant UK and Ireland. Gossain was a co-founder of NerveWire, a Boston, Mass. based management consulting and systems integration firm, and held senior management roles at Cambridge Technology Partners (now Novell), Nokia Telecommunications, and IMLogic (now Symantec).
