RWE npower Embraces Robotic Automation to Transform Business Processes

Agreement extends use of Blue Prism robotic automation software as part of key strategic customer service and quality initiatives

LONDON & MIAMI--()--Blue Prism, the leading developer of robotic automation software, announced today that npower, a leading UK energy company and part of the RWE Group, has signed a multi-year, multi-million dollar contract for the use of Blue Prism's software platform.

Robotic automation is part of npower's strategy to use technology to increase customer satisfaction and help position the organization as a leading energy provider in the UK. Through this relationship, npower will increase the use of Blue Prism in its domestic retail business unit where robotic automation software plays an important role in managing routine, administrative customer service functions. The opportunity also exists for npower to use software robots across even more strategic business areas including finance, administration and HR to increase efficiency and make cost savings.
