GLEN MILLS, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Axalta Coating Systems is sporting the Brilliant Flames paint scheme this Sunday, on March 30, 2014, for the NASCAR® Gas Booster 500 at Martinsville Speedway, home to driver Jeff Gordon’s 2013 win.
With eight Sprint Cup victories at the sport’s smallest track, Martinsville is, arguably, the best track for Gordon. In a stretch of the last 22 races (since 2003), the four-time Sprint Cup Champion has earned 20 top 10 finishes; 17 top fives; and five wins at the “Paperclip.” To say Gordon is dominant in the foothills of the Virginia Blue Ridge mountains would be an understatement.
