A free speed upgrade is underway for current Ultimate 50 customers throughout the New York City market. As announced last month, TWC soon will introduce an even faster Internet service in NYC and Los Angeles, taking its 100 Mbps tier to a blazing 300 Mbps download speed.

Time Warner Cable’s Ultimate 100 service first debuted in Kansas City in December 2012 and recently launched to residential and business customers in Los Angeles and Hawaii.
Last month, Time Warner Cable announced plans to reinvent the customer experience market-by-market, including speed increases on every Internet tier with new speeds ranging from 3 Mbps for Everyday Low Price Internet to 300 Mbps for Ultimate Internet.
