Ryan Lumaco Named Vice President, General Manager, Washington; Michael Jeffrey Appointed Vice President, General Manager, Oregon

Matt Haskins Adds Trade Development to Role as Southern’s Pacific Northwest Senior Vice President, Wine

SEATTLE--()--John Klein, Executive Vice President, General Manager, Southern Wine & Spirits of the Pacific Northwest (Southern-PNW)—a division of Southern Wine & Spirits of America, Inc., (Southern), the country’s largest wine and spirits distributor with operations in 35 states—announced today a number of appointments to strengthen the division’s senior management team. Effective immediately, Klein has named Ryan Lumaco as Vice President, General Manager, Washington and Michael Jeffrey as Vice President, General Manager, Oregon. In addition, Matt Haskins has added Trade Development to his responsibilities as Southern-PNW’s Senior Vice President, Wine.

Klein said, “On behalf of our entire Northwest team, I want to congratulate Ryan, Mike and Matt. I have great confidence in all three executives, and believe that with the combination of leadership and experience that Ryan, Mike and Matt bring to their respective roles, they will deliver enhanced results and success for Southern across the region.”

Regarding Ryan Lumaco, Klein commented, “A 20-year veteran of the wine and spirits industry and a proven leader in his former role as Vice President, General Sales Manager of Oregon, Ryan will no doubt further enhance the division’s ability to deliver excellent sales, marketing and delivery services to our customers. We also are confident he will continue to enhance and expand our supplier partnerships across the state.”

Concerning Mike Jeffrey, Klein added, “Mike’s knowledge of the industry gained in his over 20 years of experience, will continue to deliver solid business results in Oregon due to his ability to build relationships with customers and suppliers across the region.”

Remarking on Matt Haskins’ additional responsibility, Klein concluded:Matt will continue to deliver results in his current role of Senior Vice President, Wine, and take on the responsibility of leading the Trade Development Team for the Pacific Northwest. With over 29 years of industry knowledge in the local market and a native of Washington, Matt’s long-standing relationships with customers and suppliers are unprecedented.”
