WIESBADEN, Germany--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Panasonic Europe today announces the appointment of Dr. Wilhelm Steger to the position of President of Panasonic Automotive & Industrial Systems Europe (PAISEU). Bringing more than 17 years of leadership experience in the automotive industry and related sectors to his new role, Dr. Steger will be responsible for driving the growth of Panasonic’s presence within the automotive and industrial devices sectors in Europe, identified as prime B2B opportunities for the company.
Following the announcement in April 2013 of the creation of a new global four-company structure, Panasonic has continued to integrate its operations under four distinct organisations: Automotive & Industrial Systems, Eco Solutions, Appliances and AVC Networks. With the completion of this programme expected in October 2014, Dr. Steger will facilitate the successful integration within the Automotive & Industry Systems Company in Europe.
