CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dr. Joanna Ellington, an internationally recognized scientist in the area of sperm physiology and an affiliate of the Washington State University Center for Reproductive Biology, has posted an online retrospective celebrating the 10th anniversary of introducing Pre-Seed, the first fertility-friendly lubricant for trying to conceive (TTC) couples.
Dr. Ellington invented Pre-Seed Fertility-Friendly personal lubricant over a decade ago to meet women’s needs for safe lubrication when trying to get pregnant. Many TTC couples were not aware that many common lubricants damage sperm. That is because most leading lubricants contain glycerin, have the wrong pH and have high salt or “isotonic” levels that dehydrate sperm and stop them from swimming.
