BOSTON--()--One of rock’s best live acts, The Black Crowes, will team up with chart-topping pop sensation Fitz And The Tantrums to present Big Brothers Big Sisters of Massachusetts Bay’s Big Night on Saturday, February 8. The 15th-annual event, hosted at the House of Blues, supports the organization’s mission of nurturing the existing friendships between nearly 2,000 Boston-area youth and their caring, adult mentors and also helps find mentors for almost 800 children still on the organization’s waiting list.

Opening act Fitz And The Tantrums will wow the crowd with an imaginative, energy-filled set, including hit songs “Out of My League” and “The Walker”. The Black Crowes will then perform a medley of songs from some of their 11 albums, including “Remedy” and “Hard To Handle”—a not-to-miss lineup!

“Every performance is meaningful to us, but when you get to stand on stage and be a part of such a powerful, important organization like Big Brothers Big Sisters of Massachusetts Bay, it brings the energy to a different level,” said Michael Fitzpatrick of Fitz And The Tantrums. “We can’t wait to share the night with Boston and the organization.”

Beyond the stellar musical performances, guests will enjoy a flavor-packed menu, live auction and will hear first-hand from Big Brothers and Little Brothers about their life-changing experiences.

“Big Night truly represents a time of community unity and support for the next generation of Massachusetts Bay,” said Wendy Foster, CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Massachusetts Bay. “We encourage everyone, not just those attending Big Night, to discover our organization for themselves and learn how they can help the nearly 800 boys on our waiting list.”

Bianca de la Garza, popular WCVB-TV anchor, will emcee the event. Billy Costa, KISS 108 radio personality and co-host on the “Matty in the Morning” show, will serve as the event’s auctioneer.
