- More threats are coming from SMS/MMS, and many users are experiencing attacks that utilize multiple vectors (e.g., email and over-the-top messengers) on their mobile devices
- Enterprise mobile clients accounted for 51% of total mobile security client revenue in 2Q13, fueled in part by the bring-your-own-device (BYOD) trend, but is expected to fall to 44% by 2017 as consumers wake up to mobile security threats
- Asia Pacific currently leads all regions in mobile security client revenue, followed by North America and EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa), which are neck-and-neck; the Caribbean and Latin America region is a distant 4th
